HD or high definition television is shortly to be availble via the TV Aerial on your roof.
Having a satellite dish on your wall is not to everyones taste,they are not the most attractive item of decoration on your house.
With the gradual digital switchover marching across the country, HD via freeview is now beginning on the 1st december in the northwest.
You will need a  new freeview box to receive the   HD service, but it is well worth the outlay,please keep monitoring this site for new information as we recieve it.

Freeview HD as at last launched in time for the world cup in june of this year.
All this available through your TV aerial without the hassle of a satellite Dish being fitted.
 
 

 

 

Currently the  freeview HD signal is  being transmitted at only half the power of  normal freeview tranmissions,which makes  the quality and level of your signal even more important. 

This is until analogue switchover here in the yorkshire region, which is scheduled for 2011 when the signal power will be raised.
